The Accessibility and Inclusion Working Group
Learn the Foundations of Digital Accessibility:
Digital accessibility ensures that websites, mobile applications, and electronic documents can be easily navigated and understood by a wide range of users, including those users who have visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities.
This summer, the Accessibility and Inclusion Working Group is hosting four digital accessibility webinars focused on course content:
• May 26: Getting Started with Digital Accessibility
• June 9: Accessible Documents and Presentations
• June 23: Web Accessibility
• July 14: Sourcing and Creating Accessible PDFs.
These webinars are interactive, hands-on opportunities to learn how to create and maintain digital course content based on methods outlined in the Digital Accessibility Toolkit. The webinars run from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, ET. Sign up on the webinar series invite page, or explore the Accessibility and Inclusion at SPS web page for more information on this critical dimension of student success.
