February Wednesday Webinar
The Online Support team’s Wednesday Webinars, held the first Monday of each month from 12 to 1 PM, ET, are a fun, informal, and informative opportunity for faculty to enhance their teaching practice through technology. The topic for February 5 — Breakouts and Polls and Presentations, Oh My — will be facilitated by Joni Murphy, Webinar Specialist. Online Student Technology Training
During the first four weeks of the spring 2020 semester, the Online Support team will offer Online Student Technology Training every Friday at 12 PM, ET. These targeted one-hour sessions cover educational technologies commonly used in online courses and enable students to ask questions regarding specific tools and technical issues with expert help from an Online Support team member. Please encourage interested students to sign up for the training using our Calendly registration page.
Spring 2020 Digital Accessibility Webinar Series
This Spring, the SPS Accessibility and Inclusion Working Group is hosting three digital accessibility webinars focused on course content: How to Create Accessible Documents (February 19), How to Ensure Multimedia is Inclusive & Accessible (March 18), and How to Create Accessible Presentations (April 15). These webinars are interactive, hands-on opportunities to learn how to create and maintain digital course content based on the methods outlined in the Digital Accessibility Toolkit. Each webinar will run from 12 PM to 1:30 PM, ET.
